This national database of Freedom of Information Act and Public Records Act requests filed by journalists and concerned citizens contains dozens of requests filed on Long Beach and the LBPD.

The Citizen Police Complaint Commission (CPCC) Page

The city has a dedicated page for the CPCC. Two resources on that site are particularly useful for gauging the effectiveness of the commission, the posted Annual Reports and periodic Manager Reports which show how often the CPCC’s findings are overruled.

This database contains contracts executed between the City of Long Beach and other parties, as processed by the City Clerk since 1976.

The site that hosts the Long Beach City Council and Commission meetings, as well as documents related to meetings and hearings.

City’s Campaign Contributions Database

Review spending and campaign contributions by the Long Beach Police Officers Association, including $500,000 to Mayor Robert Garcia and his candidate controlled PACs since 2015, as well contributions made to city council members, the City Prosecutor, and other politicians at the county and state level.
